Our Process

To solve your needs, ChallengerSoft follows an Agile process methodology. We’ll start by discussing your needs and making an actionable plan for how to solve them using customized software and services, and then enter a period of development.

Every 2-4 weeks we will meet as a project team, demonstrating the work done thus far and gathering feedback for further changes. When everyone is satisfied, we’ll move the project into production mode, continuing to collaborate on how to best solve your ongoing needs.

CHW Registry

Allows Community Health Workers (CHWs) to apply for and retain Medicaid reimbursement status

  • Our client needed an easy way for Community Health Workers to easily register for Medicaid Reimbursement, collecting properly validated and qualified data that could be used for upload into the state's internal Medicaid systems. They wanted a portal in which CHWs could keep their data updated and refreshed so that a proper registry of active and qualified CHWs could be maintained.

  • Using our flexible CS-PRIME software platform, we provided a software package meeting the client's needs:

    • Modern security allowing CHWs to register acccounts, apply, and keep their profile updated

    • Application form fill with data properly validated

    • Process functionality for application approval and status updates to applicants

    • Data export and integration into the state's internal database systems

    We worked for a period of several months through an Agile process methodology, adding continual features and making changes as needed to support the client's exact needs prior to release.

  • We continue to support this existing solution and design the next set of features for this product - recertification processes, validation and approval process for qualified training programs and recertification credits, and more!

Patient Registration

Allows patients to fill out registration forms prior to their first clinic visit

  • Our client, a system of community health clinics serving both rural and urban environments, wanted a way for their patients to fill out their registration forms ahead of their first visit. Additionally, the client had been subject to several changes in their Electronic Medical Record systems, and wanted a solution that was flexible enough to work alongside any system.

  • Using our flexible CS-PRIME software platform, we provided a software package meeting the client's needs:

    • Public-facing medical application forms with full validation of data and modern security to protect the information provided.

    • No accounts/login needed for patients

    • HIPAA-Compliant back-office software to locate, review, print, and export forms by qualified staff members.

    • Secure form editing/updating in-clinic on a tablet device by scanning a QR code.

    We worked with the client for several months to provide an exact fit for their situation, and provided support and advisory for how to manage the in-clinic process and devices for the solution.

  • We continue to support changes in this product, adding and changing forms as needed by the clinic environment. They are able to make quick changes without involving EMR consultancies and affecting their day-to-day operations in the meantime.

We host our software on virtual Windows servers in ChallengerSoft’s HIPAA-compliant private cloud environment hosted at the US SIGNAL datacenter in Michigan. All our servers use the latest Microsoft technology and are kept regularly updated to the latest environments to ensure the protection of your software and data.

We employ a staff with a wide range of experience in the community health field. When we take on a project in a new domain, we gain expertise on your behalf - attending public and private trainings and meetings, becoming familiar with unique rules and regulations, and more. We then pass this expertise onward to you through support calls, in-software assistance, and more.
